Ayla is a mature girl who is looking for a slower paced life and a little human companionship. She enjoys the creature comforts of home and would make a very tidy housemate. She would love to curl up on your bed or enjoy the sun coming through the window or sliding door. She's not one for loud music but will quietly lounge on her scratcher while you enjoy a cuppa or a wine.

While she is not overly affectionate in public, once you bond with her, you will see her sweet side. She can be very assertive and will be sure to let you know what she wants. She's no high maintenance girl but when the mood strikes, she does enjoy being patted or the occasional brush.

Ayla is learning to share with others but does prefer to have her own space. She would love to be the Queen of her own castle and your home just might be the right one. Could Ayla be the one you have been searching for?

Adoption Details: Interested in meeting or adopting one of our animals? 1. Please complete our online application form by clicking on the APPLY NOW button. 2. Our Adoption Committee (in consultation with Foster Carer, if applicable) will assess your application against the needs of the animal you are applying for. 3. If your application is to progress to the next stage, you will be invited to a "Meet & Greet" appointment (at our Huntly North Shelter) where you will get to meet the animal you are interested in. If the meeting is a success and all parties are happy to proceed, an adoption can take place on the day or if the potential new home is local to Bendigo, we have the option to ‘trial’ first. BAWCS takes back any animal that does not work out for whatever reason. We insist that the animal must be returned to us and is not to be transferred to any other party if the adoption doesn't work out, regardless of what time has elapsed. You can adopt with confidence from BAWCS!
