Snooky Puss

Snooky is such a beautiful girl who is quite independent. She likes to take her time in getting to know you but once she feels comfortable, you will see her affectionate side. She really is a sweet cat looking for a patient companion who will give her the time she needs to settle in.

A quieter home environment would be best suited.

DID you know BAWCS has a Special Needs Cat Foster Care Program?

The Program offers cats in care who have special needs to be fostered out in a home environment.

To participate, you must be local to Bendigo (or close enough to attend any of our vets should it be required).

Snooky Puss has hyperthyroidism and is on daily medication (1 tablet she takes very easily).

BAWCS supports all costs for medication. As you can see from her video, she's a happy girl who loves to play with her spider hanging toy.

If you'd like to register to be a Special Needs Cat Foster Carer, please complete our online application form https://www.bawcs.org.au/special-needs-cat-foster-carer-application-form/

Adoption Details: Interested in meeting or adopting one of our animals? 1. Please complete our online application form by clicking on the APPLY NOW button. 2. Our Adoption Committee (in consultation with Foster Carer, if applicable) will assess your application against the needs of the animal you are applying for. 3. If your application is to progress to the next stage, you will be invited to a "Meet & Greet" appointment (at our Huntly North Shelter) where you will get to meet the animal you are interested in. If the meeting is a success and all parties are happy to proceed, an adoption can take place on the day or if the potential new home is local to Bendigo, we have the option to ‘trial’ first. BAWCS takes back any animal that does not work out for whatever reason. We insist that the animal must be returned to us and is not to be transferred to any other party if the adoption doesn't work out, regardless of what time has elapsed. You can adopt with confidence from BAWCS!
