LEONARD - IF008-19

Date of Birth: 1st Oct, 2017

Rescue Date: 14th Feb, 2019

Location: Rockingham, WA

DESCRIPTION

Leonard (a.k.a. "Lenny") is a bright eyed and bushy tailed little man (minus the bushy tail) full of energy and affection. He is a wirey little black and white domestic short hair cat.

HISTORY

Leonard was trapped at a campground by a member of the public who had recently signed up as a foster carer with IFR. This carer had previously trapped two kittens who we believe to be Leonard's offspring (Polka Dot and Zesty). Leonard went into care with one of IFR's emergency foster carers, and will soon need a more permanent foster home to go to.

TEMPERAMENT

Leonard is the most affectionate cat - if you show him your hands, he jumps, walks on two legs, does whatever he needs to do just to touch those hands, and ask you for pets. He then proceeds to dribble like a dog with his tongue poking out because he is so happy (am I selling him yet?). This boy is incredibly social and wants to be where his people are most of the time. He is still getting used to being loved and cared for so he can be apprehensive, spooked and a little hot and cold temperament-wise.

LIKES / DISLIKES

Leonard loves "patties" and "lovies" and being near his people. He loves exploring, climbing and playing. He is not overly fond of other cats and would likely prefer to be an only cat.

IDEAL HOME

Leonard's ideal home would be with someone who loves to snuggle down just as much as they like to run around for playtime. A place where he can climb and get a bit of height without getting into too much trouble would be ideal!
