Cindy

Cindy is a lovable character who will happily sit on your lap and is always up for affection. She is a calm happy go lucky girl who is just happy to be with you and have a nice comfy bed.

Cindy has been well socialised with other small dogs and gets along with all of them. She would also be great off lead once she gets to know you, and has been known to sneak outside with you but will come back when called.

This delightful little girl is still working on her toilet training, and currently happily sleeps in a comfy crate at night in her foster family’s bedroom and will let you know when she needs to go to the toilet. She would probably also be okay sleeping in the lounge room on her own bed which she has done from time to time but may have accidents.

Medically, Cindy arrived into our care as a dog with epilepsy having mild seizures. She is on anti-seizure medication, and in the last month we have not witnessed any seizures. She will need to have blood tests in the future to check her liver enzymes due to the medication she is on. Cindy has also had 3 small mammary lumps removed which were of no concern. This can be common in entire dogs, but of course Cindy has now been desexed. Cindy has also had a dental scale and polish with extractions and full blood work and has now been given the all clear to start an amazing new life.

Cindy’s ideal home is a quiet one where she would be an inside dog with someone who is home most of the time, she would also greatly benefit with the company of another small dog. Her new family will need to reinforce her toilet training and understand that with having Chihuahua in her she can be yappy, but can be easily managed. Cindy needs and deserves to be a valued and loved family member and also travels well in the car.
