Camilla and Kaden are a mum and son pair who were rescued when Kaden was 10 days old. Through this time Camilla has been a doting mum and now the pair are finally ready to find their forever home!
Camilla and Kaden are both extremely shy, this is a big part of their personality that is unusual considering they have always been loved house cats - it's just who they are! They're not a fan of new people or changes to their routine so they will take a few months to settle into their new home and accept the comfort of their new people. Once they warm up to you they will offer you love and affection, but until then they will require patience and understanding.
In their foster home, Kaden is a total smoocher who will find you first thing in the morning for a cuddle session that makes it near impossible to get out of bed. He's a talker and definitely a lover not a fighter, you can find him at any point of the day curled up somewhere comfy, purring his little heart out with a satisfied look on his face. Kaden also has the loudest little paws, you can hear him coming down the hallway padding along - he'll also use those paws to tap you awake in the middle of the night when he is hungry!
Camilla is the tiniest, most compact cat you will ever meet but she is an absolute sweetheart! She loves a good cuddle and is extremely proficient at ducking and weaving through your feet in order to rub her body all over you. Cami is LOUD! Not only does she talk extremely loud to the other cats, but her breathing is extremely loud due to having all of her teeth removed - she makes the most curious sounds and trills!
Camilla and Kaden are both cat, dog and rabbit social - they currently live with other cats, large dogs and a free roaming house rabbit. Any dog companion in their new home will have to give them space and let them approach at their own pace, Camilla is not as into the dogs as Kaden and will not cope with a canine who chases her or gets into her personal space.
They're looking for a quiet home, ideally with retiree's who can offer them the best in life. No children. They need a stable environment without too many changes, not a lot of people coming and going, and their own safe space to retreat to on the rare occasion there might be visitors. They'll need to be inside cats as they are extremely flighty and have compromised immune systems from cat flu. Camilla is also on a non-negotiable special diet due to having no teeth so the cost of that will also need to be considered.
