Lexi is a very shy little soul.
She came from a colony with her sister Willow & had no real human contact prior. It took her 3mths to start to let down her walls and allow human contact and affection. Lexi will never be a lap cat. She doesn't like being held. But, she loves a butt scratch and rewards you with the biggest loudest purrs once she gets going. She also needs to lick you while you pat her, it's her thing, she gets frustrated if you don't let her and ends the patting session... she's quite a character!
She is so cute and has the tiniest 'meep' meow to match her tiny (but extremely fluffy) stature. Her nickname is Meep Meep because of this.
Lexi is quite dependant on other cats and I would not recommend her to be an only cat as she was bonded with her sister Willow up until recently when Willow became very sick and had to be quarantined away from her. Lexi cried for Willow for at least 2wks, but obviously we could not risk both girls becoming sick & because of that time apart, they've lost their close bond, but will still cuddle at bed time with the other snuggly cats in the house.
When you come to visit Lexi, expect her to be scared and hiding, this is normal for shy timid cats. You'll need to have patience to allow her time to come out of her shell as we did when she first arrived here & once she does, it'll be so worth it.
Age: Approx 2 years
Breed: Domestic medium hair
Colour: Ginger and white
Vaccinated: To be done on adoption
Vet checked: Yes
Indoors preferred or with a cat run
Are they good with Children: Lexi has only been around my quiet 10yr old Grandson. I wouldn't recommend a loud house. Terrified of vacuum cleaner!
Are they good with other cats or dogs? Loves (needs) other cats, not too keen on my 3 small dogs though.
