Boston is looking for his Silver Lining

Dog Friendly: Yes, Introductions Necessary
Cat Friendly: NO
Child Friendly: Older Children OK

My name is Boston, but my foster family call me Boss or Bossy for short.

I have lots of energy and I have so much love to give. I love to play! I would play tug for hours if you let me – it’s my favourite game. I also love toys especially taking them apart and seeing what’s inside! Chew toys are my favourite too. I also love to play fetch for days; I love to interact and burn energy. Running is fun too! And I love cooling down in creeks and playing in the water. I love my food and get excited about breakfast and dinner.

I really love children but I can be a bit boisterous so older children would be my preference. I just love people, so I need to be an inside/outside dog and be included in family life.

I am very Staffy like so would need to be with someone who understands the needs of a Staffy, I can be a little intense at times as I have a need to be loyal and give you all my love – all I want to do is please!

Currently, I live with my greyhound friend, she is very old and sometimes I can be a bit much for her, but I love having company though, so I would do better with a fur friend who will play with me. I do get a bit excited out on my walks and can bark at the other dogs I see, but with the right person and persistent training, I could learn to be better behaved around them again.
I like to protect the house so I will happily let you know if someone is walking past that shouldn’t be – I am good at protecting the property.

Overall, I am fun, loving and enthusiastic about life, I’m dying to find my forever home that lets me be me! I have a lot of staffy traits and if you don’t like that I am not the dog for you. I have so much love to give and I would really benefit from a family that I can just be with most of the time. I am responsive to training and I’m really eager to please.

Adoption Details: Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 3 week trial. We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
