Tommy - Currently on a two week trial

Tommy is an affectionate and very happy little man. Although he is 11 years old, he is an extremely active boy who loves to play and chase the ball (his favourite pastime). He loves a good game of tug of war with his foster fur brother as well as a game of chasey. Tommy loves toys but will need a good supply of hard wearing toys to keep him happy as he does tend to demolish the softer ones. Also can't forget the squeaky toys - they will be squeaked until the can squeak no more!
Tommy loves his walks and is extremely good on and off lead. He easily walks his current 3km walk and gets very excited when he sees the lead in your hand. When walking off lead, Tommy will mainly stay by your side or right behind you.
In the evening, Tommy loves to plonk himself down on you or next to you while you're watching TV. If he can coerce you into throwing the ball for him too, all the better.
While Tommy is toilet trained and uses the doggy door in his foster home, he does occasionally have small accidents while his family aren't home.
Tommy is very friendly with all small dogs but not overly happy with larger dogs. A home with another small playful dog is a must for this little man - playtime and company are his favourites! He would suit an active family with older children or a retired active couple. Tommy has not been tested with cats or very young children and we could not guarantee his suitability with them.
