Nickie DB422 & Dusty DB423

Meet Nickie (female) & Dusty (male)!

A bonded pair, these two will remain together for the rest of their lives. They are definitely lap-dog sized, and we would love a home where they will be spoiled and loved for the rest of their lives! As with all dogs, it is important their new family commit to keeping these two at a healthy weight and fitness as this will allow them many happy years with you. They are healthy little dogs who have much love and life to give!

Dusty is as chill as a cucumber. He loves his belly rubs and his comfy bed. He is the quiet, brooding type and is the perfect best buddy to Nickie, watching on patiently as she plays. When it’s time for a walk however, he will let you know how happy he is by giving a few hooray barks and prancing for joy. He is a bit of a slow walker at the moment due to his obesity, but with constant exercise he will get his summer body back.

Nickie is just the loveliest and most loyal girl. She will follow you around everywhere and even if you just look in her direction her tail starts wagging. She has fantastic energy for her age and is always up for walks/runs and playing fetch with her toys. That being said she is also great at snuggling up with her long-time friend Dusty and having a good ‘ole nap in her comfy bed. Her biggest love is pats and cuddles and she loves putting her two paws up on you when you’re sitting down and giving you a lovely lick while she’s being scratched.

Nickie & Dusty have not had any training (although they are learning quickly!), so they cannot sit on command, but they do know their names and have good recall. However with one on one training, they will learn (as Dusty has already learnt ‘stay’), so you can teach an old dog new tricks! They are both also very gentle, good with people and children and loves a car ride.

Both Dusty and Nickie would suit a quiet home, with older kids ideally or a retired person, as they are senior citizens! They have a very special relationship together and are like two peas in a pod. They don’t ask for much; yummy wet food (dried is their last preference but they seem to be coming around to it), a walk a day and lots of belly rubs. They are also fine when left alone (inside or out), as they have each other for company. Both Nickie and Dusty still have so much life left and love to give and are looking for someone to give them all of that.

Essential Information: Dusty & Nickie must be rehomed together. They cannot be rehomed with cats *
