AC1022 - Peggy

Hi, I'm Peg, a name that was given to me because I have a peg leg! Don't worry though, because it doesn’t slow me down! I can climb, jump, run and play like nobody’s business. In fact I love to chase a toy called Cat’s meow, as it is like chasing a rats tail hidden under a material cover. I love feather wand toys too.

I love scratches, especially behind my ears and under my chin. I have a rumbly purr, and dribble a tiny bit when I’m really happy. I would prefer a home with little children, as I just adore them. I will need supervision while we get to know each other, as I am a bit shy until I get to know them. I love sleeping on the bed, and you can find me in a little nest I make in the doona or blankets. I do like the outdoors so a catio would be my ideal getaway. I’m just as happy with an inside window view, so I can keep an eye on the neighbours, birds and nap in the sun.

I’m living with other cats in my foster home but I do prefer it to be all about me and the tiny humans. With a long, slow, patient introduction I would be ok with another calm cat. Being an older girl, I don’t want to be bothered with boisterous, teenage kitties. I’ve not met any doggys, but if they stay away from me I will be fine.

I like a simple menu of wet food morning and night, with dry food available during the day. I have been introduced to a balanced raw diet but I like Felix food just as much.

As I have a small paw on my peg leg, I prefer to have sandy type litter. No sharp or chunky litters will do, I have tried and tested them all and I will only use the litter tray with sandy litter. I’m very tidy though and don’t make a mess.
If you are looking for a beautiful girl, that is well beyond the naughty kitten stage, friendly and calm with children, then look no further.
