1065 - Banjo

Hey there, I am Banjo! Oh boy, do I have a story to tell you! Well, it starts off like this; I was born outside and started growing up in the wild bushlands, it was so fun. One day, I decided I was a big boy and wandered off from my family looking for food and I found a bin with lots of scraps and then suddenly, I was picked up and taken to what humans call a pound. Oh boy, was I scared and when my Foster Mum walked in to collect me she called me a feisty little man, I was very hissy, anyway she took me home. She gave time and space and let me settle in and it was then that I started to like living inside. My Foster Mum would pick me up and put me in her jacket an tickle my head and I loved it, it was that the best feeling ever.

I have only been in care for a few of weeks, but I’ve gone from being a wild kitten to a beautiful little man, if I do say so myself! I’ve learnt how to use a litter tray and I am loving the fact I get food whenever I want! I’ve even started to play. I live with a couple of other kittens and we get along well. I still hiss a bit, but that’s all talk and I start purring within minutes. I love to jump up on the bed and if you’re lucky, I may even permit a cuddle. I am actually very gentle and will give a boop when the mood takes me, no claws out of course!

I am still getting used to life as a house cat, but as I am so young it won’t take me too long have it nailed. And when I do, I am going to make the most wonderful companion to a lucky family.
