Ehlonna ADOPTED!

Are you looking to make a difference by adopting a very special pair? There's no stronger bond than a mother and her baby, and that could not be more true than with Ehlonna and her quirky girl Lelu!

Ehlonna gave birth to Lelu and her 4 siblings (previously adopted) in BAWCS care, after we rescued her from local bushland. She was pregnant and homeless, and it was clear she had not had any human contact in her young life. We were unable to handle her when she first arrived in our care and she has been very wary of people. With the help of her best bud Lelu (who also happens to be her daughter!), she has slowly been learning to trust her carers.

Ehlonna loves to play and this has been a great way to bond with her. Lelu is an affectionate and playful girl and we think Ehlonna has really improved from watching Lelu interact with her carers. It is such a rewarding experience to see a timid cat come out of their shell and we have no doubt the right adopter for her will appreciate how special she is.

Ehlonna has the cutest little meow and the softest fur. She has a sweet little nature and often seeks out her carers for pats and head rubs. She loves to have her back scratched near her tail and her signature move is the good old drop and roll for tummy rubs!

We would love to see Ehlonna adopted with Lelu, as she has been such a good influence on her and they do love to play, wrestle and nap together! They have both previously been sharing with other cats in a foster care home so would adapt easily to sharing with another cat.

You can now meet Ehlonna (& Lelu) at our Adoption Cattery on Saturdays between 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Alternatively, please complete our online application form to organise a private 'meet and greet'. An application doesn't commit you to an adoption.
